Guide for Applying to the Aquinas Institute
Complete an Application Form:
All students interested in applying to Aquinas must fill out and submit the Aquinas Application. To complete the application process, students must also submit the following forms:
• Most recent report card from current school year
• Last year's final report card
• Any standardized test scores your current school has on file
Students Applying for the 7th & 9th Grade:
Students looking to enter Aquinas for 7th and 9th grade are also required to take a placement examination as part of the application process.
Examinations for placement in the 2010-2011 Academic Year will be held on:
• Saturday, December 5th at 8:30 a.m.
• Saturday, January 16th at 8:30 a.m.
Students taking the placement examination should report to the Aquinas Student Union with two #2 pencils and $10.

Students Applying for the 8th, 10th & 11th Grade:
Students looking to enter Aquinas for 8th, 10th and 11th grades are not required to take the placement exam. However, these students must also submit a letter of recommendation and be prepared to interview with members of the admissions committee.
Students Applying for the 12th Grade:
Aquinas generally does not accept senior transfers.
Admissions Process Timeline:
November 5th: AQ Open House, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
December 5th: AQ Early Admissions / Scholarship Exam, 8:30 a.m.
Early January: Aquinas receives scores from testing service
Early January - Mid-January: Aquinas Admissions Committee reviews applications
January 16th: Make-up Placement Exam
January 29th: Acceptance Letters Sent Home
February 25th: Registration for 7th and 9th Grades
